Almond oil is a rich emollient that replenishes dry skin. It creates a light protective film over the outermost layer of the skin, retaining moisture and preventing transepidermal water loss. It is rich in antioxidant vitamins A and E to support healthful ageing and reduces damage to the skin caused by UV exposure. The phytosterols and essential fatty acids provide anti-inflammatory protection that support the barrier function and can be beneficial for many skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis.
The almond oil is richly infused with whole rose petals. Roses have an extraordinary 300 active compounds, including skin-nourishing vitamins, minerals, and protective antioxidants, it is unarguably one of the most powerful natural healers for the skin.
Roses contain waxy lipids that are similar to our skin's own ceramides, giving them the ability to repair a damaged lipid barrier. High in vitamins A and C they help support collagen and elastin, keeping skin firm and supple and combating environmental damage, from UV rays and pollution.
