Rosemary

Salvia Rosmarinus

Originating in the sunny Mediterranean, rosemary is a lover of hot dry slopes. Its distinctive fragrance fills the air as the plant is warmed by the sun. An evergreen shrub that can grow up to six feet tall, it has bluish-green needle-like leaves adorned with tiny pale blue flowers from March to May.

Rosemary has long been used in cooking and herbal medicine for a variety of conditions. In more recent times a natural Rosemary Extract has found a significant place as one of the new-generation Antioxidants.

Rich in a variety of plant compounds known for their antioxidant capabilities including, phenolic acids, flavonoids, monoterpenes, diterpenes, diterpenoids, and triterpenes it offers significant protection. Antioxidants are important ingredients in cosmetic formulations, to reduce damage and degradation to plant oils. Often synthetic vitamin E or tocopherols are used. But this pure and natural organic certified botanical CO2 extract is more stable than vitamin E and more effective at retaining the freshness of the preparation's ingredients.

This extract of rosemary is a true example of Mother Nature providing us with something far better than any lab-made alternative.
