Description
The Essences are in essence hydrating products, providing essential water-soluble nutrients to nourish the skin. They are particularly beneficial as part of your evening care ritual. At night while you are sleeping your skin is still active, it uses this time to not only repair and renew from the inside out but to also eliminate daily waste.
Using rich creams and oil-based products at night can hinder the skin's natural nightly processes. Instead, I have created a light nutrient-dense mist that could really be considered a light serum. They ensure the skin is properly hydrated and nourished with vital water-soluble compounds and vitamins to deeply nourish and protect the skin.
The plants in this essence have been chosen for their anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Beautiful chamomile rich in azulene soothes and reduces redness and inflammation. Lavender, Lemon Balm and Helichrysum offer further anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties, while uplifting neroli, brightens and evens skin tone and balances oil production.
With a variety of polyphenols to fight free radical damage and protect from cell damage and premature ageing. Wild Meadow Essence also contains natural botanical salicylic acid, offering antimicrobial action and gentle exfoliation to support a variety of skin conditions including acne and psoriasis.
The natural botanical hyaluronic acid ensures this essence will deeply hydrate and soothe the skin.
Although a night care product if your skin is going through a particularly difficult time and breakouts are frequent then Wild Meadow Essence can also be used in the morning, in place of your usual Lusan Hydrosol for an added boost.

Key Botanicals
German Chamomile has a long history of use as a herbal tonic for all skins. Rich in azulene with its calming and soothing properties, it brings comfort to sensitive and irritated skin. Rich in antioxidants to support and nourish the skin and is balancing to the microbiome.
Lavender this traditionally distilled organic hydrosol is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive and fragile. Having a pH value very close to the skin's it is anti-inflammatory, cooling and healing. It balances oil production for both oily and dry skin.
Thyme contains many compounds that have strong anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and immune-modulating properties, making it beneficial for many difficult skin conditions.
Several studies have found topical application of thyme tincture can reduce the acne-causing bacteria and help reduce inflammation associated with acne. Thyme was found to be more effective at treating acne than the commonly prescribed benzoyl peroxide, with none of the associated side effects.
Lemon Balm is anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and antiviral, it is useful for supporting an array of skin concerns including acne, eczema and psoriasis.
It calms and soothes minor wounds and offers some protection against UVA and UVB rays. It has gentle astringent properties to tone and invigorate the skin and can help balance sebum production.
